A Wellness Adventure along the Wild Atlantic Way!

Enjoy unique and cosy accommodations

We have selected very special places for you to stay.  You will spend the first two nights in a cosy cottage and yoga retreat centre on Heir Island a little gem just off the Wild Atlantic Way. You will spend the following three nights glamping on the spectacular Loop Head Peninsula on the Wild Atlantic Way too. The bell tents and wooden cabins offer a cocoon-like cosy environment from where you can explore the woodlands and the sea shore, there is even a sauna on site!

Explore Hidden Gems and Natural Wonders

You will explore some wonderful locations along the wild Atlantic coast: Garnish Island, Baltimore, the Loop Head Peninsula. You will also experience two of Ireland’s most spectacular natural wonders: the Killarney National Park in Kerry and the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare.

Relax and Rejuvenate through Yoga and Meditation

Our yoga and wellness activities are facilitated by highly experienced teachers. Yoga sessions can be adapted to all levels and will be suitable for beginners, or those with some experience.

Morning yoga sessions are invigorating classes of Hatha yoga, pranayama (breathing techniques) and Yoga Nidra (meditative relaxation) to give you a spring in your step for the day. Evening sessions are a gentle wind down from your busy day, with meditation, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra. Restorative yoga involves very simple, gentle, restful stretches that release tension held in the deep tissues of the body. Yoga Nidra is a beautiful practice of guided, meditative rest that brings about a release of accumulated tension in body, heart and mind and has the ability to offer profound rest, transformation and healing.

Connect with Nature

During the programme you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the Irish wilderness, through walks, guided outdoor meditation and free time during which you might chose to walk or do some kayaking.

Connect with people

Along the way, you will be meeting with local people from our own network, and you will experience the renowned Irish hospitality.

Day 1 Cork to Heir Island (D)

Meet your Wellness Tour Guide and fellow travellers in Cork city for a light lunch and welcome. Transfer to Heir Island in West Cork. On the way, we stop at Drombeg stone circle, the finest example of a distinctive series of sacred stone circles found in the south of Ireland, nestled in the beautiful Irish country side.

Arrive in Heir Island after a very short crossing by boat. The island is a hidden gem just off the Wild Atlantic Way with wide seascapes, sandy beaches, colourful sunsets, rocky coves and only the sound of nature to break the silence, a perfect place for a wellness escape. Enjoy a delicious healthy dinner in your cosy cottage followed by a relaxing yoga nidra, meditation and restorative yoga session in a room with views across the bay. A perfect way to unwind after a busy day.

Day 2 Heir Island (B,L,D)

Day 3 Heir Island to Loop Head          Peninsula (B, D)

Leave the island to discover two iconic places of the south of Ireland: Garnish Island and the sublime Killarney National park. Garnish Island is world renowned for its gardens which are laid out in beautiful walks and it has some stunning specimen plants which are rare in this climate. Killarney national park is an iconic must-see location in Ireland with its castles, lakes, woods and panoramic views of the country’s highest mountains. You will arrive at the beginning of the evening in your glamping site located on the spectacular Loop Head Peninsula. This luxury form of camping allows you to immerse yourself in nature while enjoying modern comfort in a cosy setting.  Enjoy a healthy dinner and finish the day with a relaxing and restorative yoga session

Explore the adjacent Querrin Shore; a sanctuary for a wide variety of birds including herons, curlews, greenshanks.

In the afternoon, take some free time to further explore the surroundings or just relax in a cosy corner.
